a documentation of the city's polycentric nature and car-centric infrastructure-- los angeles is built for cars and freeways, yet micro-mobilities are the mass movements that struggle to thrive in such environments--it is a city defined by its rhizomatic nature-- the freeways and arterials reflect the uneven sprawl--there is a lack of coordination
i’m an urbanist interested in how people move through space & how infrastructure frames those movements. i have never owned a car, due to my 14-year-old-abbey-esque-earth-firster phase, so there is always time for observations. currently, i am studying geography/environmental studies and digital humanities at ucla.
